Huge well done to all bowlers in the 2019 Youth Triple Crown that was hosted in Dublin on 23rd to 25th August .  The Scotland team brought home an impressive 67 medals!

Singles

Bronze for Alison Williamson for U21 Girls and Jak Herbertson in the U21 boys. Silver for Euan Tait for U19 Boys, and Gold for Rebecca Daniels in U21 Girls.

Doubles

Euan Coote and Jason Smith won Bronze for U16 Boys.  Jak Herbertson and Matthew Crossan got silver in the U21 boys and Allison Williamson and Rebecca Daniels won Gold for U21 girls.

 

Trios

Triple gold for Scotland with the U16 girls, Rachel Buchanan, Shelby King and Gabby McLatchie, U19 Boys, Chris Thomson-Nairne, Euan Tait and Jamie Johnston and U21 Girls, Alison Williamson, Ruth Laing and Rebecca Daniel.  Jak Herbertson, Matthew Crossan and David Waite picking up Silver and rest of the teams finished in bronze.

  

Mixed Doubles

Silver medals for U16 and U21 and bronze for U19’s

 

Teams

U21 girls kept the run going for Gold in the Teams and secured the U21 shield. U21 boys finished with Silver, all other teams gave a good effort ending with bronze.

     

Masters

After the run of golds for our U21 girls, 3 finished the all events in top 4, so qualified for the Master, played as a round robin.  Rebecca Daniels completed her run winning gold with Alison picking up Silver and Ruth Bronze.  Jak Herbertson finished 4th picking up Bronze.  Chris Thomson-Nairne won Gold after starting from 4th position for the U19 boys, winning his first 2 matches then drawing in the last game.
