Format
Graded Doubles tournament which will be played scratch split into 2 divisions determined by entering average, STB ranking averages will be used where these exist, (if no STB average over nine games, then the bowler’s highest league average must be declared). The divisions will be formed after all entries received to provide an even split from the participating field. Ladies will be awarded 8 bonus pins per game, this will be added to their entering average to determine the division they play in.
The tournament will be played over 6 games, changing lanes after each game.
No ball surface changes can be made after practice for the duration of the event.
In the event of a tie – Highest last game will break the tie. Ties in high game prizes will split the prize money.
Tournament Prizes and Payouts
Prize money will be paid to the top 3 teams in each division determined by highest scratch pinfall (+ bonus pins for ladies) from the 6 games played.
High scratch game prizes (each division) will be paid to the highest scratch team game (+ladies pins) in each of the six games bowled.
Entry Eligibility
This ranking tournament is open to all STB members or non-members who pay a one off levy (£15) to enter. STB Ranking points will be awarded to Men and Women based on the scratch pinfall over 6 games.
