If possible, please spread your singles/doubles pairings over both squads
Format
Teams will be made up of 4 bowlers, the team will split to form 2 x doubles teams (and 4 singles). 3 games will be bowled in each discipline (Singles, Doubles, Teams), moving lanes after each game.
A / B Divisions – Using Adult STB Ranking Averages (If no STB average over nine games, highest league average must be declared) the divisions will be formed after all entries received to provide an even split from the participating field, in each event. Ladies will be awarded 8 pins per game, this will be added to averages before the division splits are made.
Ranking points will be awarded to Men and Women based on their individual all events scratch pinfall from the 9 games bowled
Surface Changes
Surface changes for the Nationals will only be permitted between each 3 game block (singles/doubles/teams).
Oil Patterns
The Oil Patterns for this event will be shared soon – there will be 2 patterns, one for Singles/Doubles and one for Teams(4s)
Tie-Breaker
In the event of a tie the highest last game will determine the winner in each discipline.
A tiebreak in the All Events will be determined by the individual’s highest last game in the team
Payouts
Cash Prizes will be paid to 1st/2nd place in each discipline (Singles, Doubles, Teams) in A and B division. All Events 1st place winners (only) in both A & B Division)will win a commemorative prize plus a Re-Entry at the 2026 Scottish Open (non-transferrable).
Masters Qualification
The top 10 Men and Top 6 Women taken from All Events (full field of those eligible to represent Scotland) will be invited to play in the Nationals Masters on 29/03/26 at MISC (detail to be shared with participants) = No entry cost
