Child Protection Officer

Scottish Tenpin Bowling SCIO are happy to announce the successful applicant for the Child Protection Officer post is Heidi Bartlett from Livingston. We will be working with Heidi to put procedures in place.

Below is a short statement from Heidi,

“I am delighted to accept the position of STB Child Protection Officer & look forward to the many challenges it will bring.

For those of you who don’t know me, a wee bit about myself. I’m a mother of 3 children & grandmother to 2 gorgeous grandchildren. I am a serving police officer with 9 years experience in various fields including child protection.

The world of ten-pin bowling is fun, exciting & energetic for young people with a bit of competitiveness thrown in.

Child protection is an important aspect of this and we all need to play a part in keeping our players safe & supported.

I look forward to meeting each clubs Child Protection Officers & supporting them with any arising issues including ensuring up-to-date training.”
