Our European Senior Championship team recently competed in Vienna, Austria on Thurs 23/01 – Sat 01/02.  At the inaugural European Senior Championship 2020.

Scotland ESC Team 2020 – (Left to Right, Back to Front) – Alan Keddie, Andy Gillespie, Bernie Matthews, Jack Smith, Liz Gove, Julia Claxton, Louise Gillespie, Margaret Rae

Our European Senior Team had a fantastic result medaling in 3 events:

  • Doubles (Bronze) – Andy Gillespie and Bernie Matthews
  • Masters (Bronze) – Andy Gillespie

In addition, Alan Keddie, Andy Gillespie, and Julia Claxton finished in the top 24 of Europe, qualifying them for the masters.

Scotland had one of our best performances in a championship. Congratulations to the whole team for their fantastic efforts!
