Scotland’s First Appearance at the European Youth Live Tournament

The European Youth Live Tournament (EYLT) is the very first European tournament of it’s kind. In collaboration with the European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF), TenPinCam, and sponsored by Brunswick, the EYLT will be the first fully virtual European tournament (https://tenpincam.com/EYLT2021).

Using the latest technology and specialised video equipment TenPinCam allows bowlers to battle against other opponents virtually, in real-time, anywhere in the world. TenPinCam will be the hosts for the event and with two bowling centres supporting TenPinCam we are pleased to participate in the first EYLT.

The tournament is open to 2 male and 2 female athletes under 21s which will represent the federation at the event and was a response to the pandemic that we’ve experienced over the last year and half where restrictions made it difficult to play the sport we love.

We are excited to work with our host centre, Murrayfield Indoor Sports Club, who have provided excellent conditions for the athletes to train at the centre. If you’re an enthusiast, amateur or national bowler then we would definitely recommend heading over to Murrayfield and getting involved. We look forward to working with Murrayfield Indoor Sports Club in the future.
